Located at Period 7 and Group 7 of the Periodic Table is one of the Super - Heavy synthesized element. This is Bohrium.

First discovered in 1981 by a team of scientist led by Peter Armbruster and Gottfried Münzedber and also produced ( not isolated, since it is one of the man - made element ) by the same team of scientist led by Peter Armbruster and Gottfried Münzedber also in 1981.
Because Bohrium is one of the man - made Super - Heavy element, like many other Super Heavy synthesized element's characteristic has, Bohrium's isotopes has extremely short half lives. So, not much was known about Bohrium.
However, we still know that Bohrium was produced by Peter Armbruster and Gottfried Münzedber and their scientist team by bombarding a target of bismuth-209 with ions of chromium-54 using Cyclotron ( A particle accelerator )

This is mainly because of common observation on the Periodic Table. Those in Period 7 such as Francium, Radium, Uranium are at Period 7. Coincidentally, the Francium, Radium and the Actinides are radioactive. So, scientist all believed that Bohrium is radioactive too.

How Did It Get This Name
Firstly, let's clarify. Don't get confused Bohrium with the Tea brand Boh, ' knowing ' that Bohrium's name actually come from the tea brand Boh. But... no.Bohrium is actually proposed to be named after by the Danish Physicist Niels Bohr, which its name is Nielsbohrium with the symbol Ns. IUPAC agreed to name the element after Niels Bohr, however, they suggested that the first name of the person never appear in the names of any other element named after a person. So, IUPAC decided to name it Bohrium, after Niels Bohr's surname, Bohr.

Before Bohrium is officially named, Bohrium held an ' Unknown ' title, which is Ununilseptium. It was after named Bohrium only in 1997 by IUPAC.
Uses
Because of Bohrium's extremely short half lived isotopes, so no known uses is known for Bohrium. However, we still know that Bohrium is only used in laboratory researches for creation of other elements.
